The Last Colony (Part 1) Project is in the final stage of printing and it’s ALL thanks to your support!
We are OFFICIALLY copyrighted! No matter how many projects you are involved in as a creator, achieving copyright is essentially an acknowledgment that you are done poking and prodding at your art – it’s officially ready to share which is a major step.
Also a HUGE thank you for Crowdfunding me on my newly launched platform! Because of the way we set up this platform, we were able to use the funds as they were coming in and expedite ordering supplies for more timely delivery to you – and it worked!
The next steps are around shipping. We have all materials printed and ready to go – just need the Comics and Ashcan Comics printed. All other shipped goodies, i.e. the stickers, bookmarks, and campaign poster are prepped and ready to go! We have no guaranteed dates from the print vendor, but I hope to have the physical proof from them in my office in about a week. Shortly after that, it should go to print, then go from my doorstep to yours! How exciting!
This story is about people going through difficult times, I can’t help but see the parallel to my personal story as an Artist/Illustrator and my own journey. It’s shown me the importance of how you all have come together to lift each other up and realize the impossibles, and hopefully, you see the amazing power of doing this together too?
I can’t express enough how grateful I am to be a part of this crazy, fun, wild adventure of being a full-time professional artist with you. The best part is, that we all get to do it together.
