What is a Quick Study
Gesture drawing is an essential skill you need to build your characters. In this part of our lecture, we will go through the paces of developing quick studies. Speed is necessary, and drawing short studies gets the essential pieces in place so you can build your figures.
You don’t want to get stuck drawing the same pose constantly. Repetition and the ability to identify the body’s main parts while flowing them together will add to your skill set.
